High Point - Over 600 homes are part of the High Point planned recreation community. Cul-de-sac streets are found throughout the development.
High Point homes range from 2,300 square feet to over 4,000 square feet in a variety of styles and elevations. Some of the distinctive areas feature lots up to 100 feet wide. Gracious living is a hallmark of High Point. Home prices range from around $180,000 to $800,000. A natural greenbelt of common area runs throughout the development and borders many lots. High Point homes reflect many styles and designs.
High Point homes were first built in 1976. Cleveland's first-ever Homearama, with multiple builders showcasing their product, took place in this development in 1984. Many different styles of single family homes can be found in the development.
High Point subdivision has eight cluster associations located within the development. These cluster groups range from 10 to 25 units and offer a maintenance-free lifestyle. A variety of designs gives a range of choices to those who choose this option. Cluster unit prices range from $140,000 to $250,000.

Thirty acres of greenbelt common area runs throughout the development, with numerous walks running through these areas. Many High Point homes in the development back up to the greenbelt and offer dramatic views. Brick and masonry entrance signs greet visitors entering the development. Throughout the holidays, High Point's entrance signs are festively decorated and illuminated.
A new replacement swimming pool was built in 1996. It has six racing lanes in the 25 meter rectangle. Here you see the 30 foot by 30 foot diving area that is 10 feet deep, allowing diving from the side of the pool. Another feature of the pool is the beach-entry (zero-entry) that allows residents to walk into the pool. It serves as a primary area for toddlers. Water bubblers are located in the floor of the beach area. Over 192,000 gallons of heated water makes the pool a gathering place during the summer months. Thanks to underwater lighting, the pool is open daily from noon to 10:00 pm. A three-flume waterslide is located on pool deck. Kids, and not-so-young kids, love this feature. In 2006 the association replaced the interior pool surface with DiamondBrite, a new and longer-lasting finish. All ceramic tiles, the main pump and lifeguard chairs were also replaced as part of the renovation and capital improvement project.
A clubhouse is available for residents to rent for private parties. This facility is located at the pool and can be used throughout the year for family events. A new addition was completed in 2003 that included renovation of the existing exterior. Over 2,000 square feet of new program area was added. Residents can rent the party room to host birthdays, anniversaries, wedding or baby showers, wedding receptions, holiday celebrations for family or workers from the office, First Communions, business meetings or community group functions.
In 2006, association trustees completely redecorated the lobby and entrance of the clubhouse with new carpet, wall coverings, doors and trim. A small group meeting room was also created for resident use. The 2006 clubhouse renovation also included renovating the kitchen with the replacement of kitchen counters, cabinets, appliances and floor. A custom-built service unit was created for the party room and can serve as a wet bar or food service counter. All of the renovation work was part of capital improvements planned by association trustees.
A playground is located in the recreation area of the association, near the pool and clubhouse. Many slides and climbing features give kids a great place to play. Situated with nearby trees, the playground also includes several sets of swings. A favorite part of the playground is the cork-screw slide. An outdoor basketball court is located in the recreation area. Included in the recreation area with the basketball court is a sand volleyball court. Twin lighted tennis courts are available to residents in the recreation area.
